Blogging 101 or a cheating husband?

Lets face it. We all want to get our messages out whether it's for personal or commercial reasons. In some way or another we like to be heard (well I do!).

So my friend Kercha (pronounced catch-ya) asked me to start a blog since I have so much to say...and so many friends and so many listeners at church who love to hear me speak...right. So I took Kercha's advice.

I signed up for  td-giddensauthor.blogspot.com and tdgiddenswordpress.com without a hiccup. Put up some cute information about myself, what I do, who I do and all that good stuff. Then I waited...and I waited.

Weirdest thing too waking up next to my husband but quietly looking for my cell phone. Moved my hands slowly across the bed. Sat up in slow motion to keep from moving squeaky non-pillow top mattress. When I find my phone (under my pillow) I change the light settings to keep from waking the stallion sleeping next to me. I uploaded the blog apps the night before to make it easy to proll the necessary site.

Excitement..fear..the "I knew it" fear....rumbled through my head.

So, I quietly checked for any sign of human behavior...one voice..one sound of reassurance, one living creature that would validate Kercha's claim...

There was no response to my blog. No interaction from the many people Kercha insisted were listening. And there was no Kercha.

So what do I do next? Turn my phone settings back to normal. Turn the phone off. Stick the phone back under my pillow . Kiss the stallion sleeping next to me. And whisper in his ear "I knew there wasn't anyone else."
